CLAUDIA KIRKPATRICK, Artist
Being “CREATIVE” is seeing the illusive and making it compelling!
I began painting with watercolors in 1981. While attending a life drawing class I was enchanted by a beautiful watercolor and I had found my medium.
Shortly thereafter, I attended art classes at Madona University in Livonia, MI. To further my education, I attended numerous workshops from such well-known artists as Judi Betts, Tom Lynch, Joe Fettigus, Royland Roycroft and many others who have contributed to my education and joy. I also completed the Northlight Art School two-year course.
I have competed in fine art shows and been rewarded with a purchase award, monetary prizes, merchant, people’s choice and numerous ribbons of all types.
Our local newspaper, the Vista, sponsored a one-woman show in honor of my painting used to represent their garden tour.
I continue to learn and create in this fascinating medium and am furthering my experience with oils, pastels and mixed media.
