LE VOSS, Artist
Le and her husband, Kent, retired in Tennessee from Sussex County, New Jersey in 1993. A native of Michigan, Le attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and the University of Maryland. Le began oil painting in 1968 while living in Washington D.C. area. Years later she developed an interest in watercolor and while living in Germany exhibited with three other American artist. Workshop leaders that Le has studied with include Charles Reid, Frank Webb Judi Betts, Skip Lawrence, Don Andrews and many others. She likes to pass on what she has learned by giving watercolor classes locally. Le is active in the Crossville Arts Council and a past president of the Art Guild. While Le enjoys a variety of subject matter florals are her specialty because of the beauty and joy they bring into the world. Her work has been exhibited in several galleries and many shows including the New Jersey Watercolor Society, Tennessee Watercolor Society, Oakridge Open Show and Crossville's Depot Days. She is a signature member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society. Over the Years she has won many awards.
