“Tiny Simple Earrings” is the Smorgasbord Class for July at PCAC
by Linda Carr
Michalanne Sloan will teach the Smorgasbord class on Tuesday, July 11, from 10 am to 12 noon at the Art Guild’s Plateau Creative Art Center (PCAC). Join Michalanne to learn how to make tiny earrings that are stylish. Although they will be simple to make, they have the added finish of either gemstones or crystals. The beginning student will learn two basic wire techniques: working with a jump ring and making a simple coil. If a student has jewelry tools, they are encouraged to bring them, but tools will be provided. Maximum class size of 10 students.
Smorgasbord classes are monthly two-hour art classes geared to participants at all skill levels. Offered by the Art Guild at Fairfield Glade, the cost of each class is a very reasonable $20 per person for both Art Guild members and non-members. There is an extra fee paid to the instructor for materials.
Sign up for this and other Smorgasbord classes at the Plateau Creative Arts Center, 451 Lakeview Drive (off Peavine). For more information or to enroll and pay by credit card, call 931-707-7249. The enrollment fee must be paid at the time of registration to hold an opening in the class. Class size is limited, so register early.
